This weekend we put together a small race for F1 at Minicars indoor track in Sweden. It was the first race in a very long time in the central parts of Sweden so most drivers had never attended a F1 race before nor had very much practice. Running the race on a regulation very similar to the ETS F1 class it made for some tight and interesting racing both for the drivers and the people on the trackside.

Personally I was as usual struggling since Iâ™m not much of a mechanic, but after the practice and qualification I figured that I had locked the differential which made the car lose the rear grip and turn around after the straight. I went in to the finals starting second last and managed to drive myself up to a, for me impressive, 4th place in the B-final. The X1 was working really well and it was only held back from the first place by my poor driving .

In the A-main XRAY X1 dominated from start to finish and it was in the end won in A3 by Sebastian Johansson in front of Mattias Trotte and Alex Hofvander. Fun race with a good atmosphere all in all!
